Target recalls range of baby coveralls due to potential choking risk

The store has issued an urgent warning.

Target Australia has issued an urgent recall on a range of baby coveralls over fears the zip puller may break and detach, posing a choking risk to infants.

Target’s Facebook page says the recall only applies to two-way zip baby coveralls (sizes 0 to 12-18mths) purchased between February 2018 and June 2018.

‘At Target Australia, the safety of our customers and their families is our highest priority. This is why we’ve decided to conduct a voluntary recall of a specific range of baby coveralls due to a quality issue,’ the recall notice reads.

After coveralls purchased after 13th June, 2018, are not affected by the recall.

Affected customers are urged to stop using the product and return it to a Target or Target Country store as soon as possible.
