On Wednesday morning Sarah Ferguson was singing the praises of the Royal family whilst on Good Morning Britain, but a body language expert has revealed there were certain feelings Fergie wasn’t telling us.
The Duchess of York has had a rocky relationship with the Royal family since divorcing Prince Andrew back in 1996, and although she was famously snubbed from Kate and Wills wedding in 2011, she was invited to Prince Harry and Meghan nuptials earlier this year.
While on Good Morning Britain, host Piers Morgan grilled Fergie about her relationship with the royal family, and whilst Ferguson claimed the familial relationship was back on track, a body expert revealed the questions had made the Duchess put her guard up.
Body language expert Judi James told Express.co.uk, “When Piers announced he would be ‘grilling’ Sarah about the Royals in the second part, Sarah’s body language suddenly became less assured and hugely incongruent.
“She raised her fists in the air in a gesture of celebration as though she was excited to be about to spill all the royal beans, but her pained facial expression was a denial gesture that suggested she was going to be more cautious than keen.”
James noticed there was more than just Fergie’s hand gestures to suggest she was feeling uncomfortable with the line of questioning telling Express.co.uk:
“She sucked her lips in too, in a gesture of self-silencing or denial and after some anxious-looking hand-fiddling as she spoke she dropped her hands onto her lap to hide them altogether, which was a massive masking technique after the emphatic, open gesticulations of the first section.”
Whilst Fergie told the talk show hosts it was nice to feel welcomed back into the Royal family, there definitely seems to be more to this story.
