In a break from royal tradition, Queen Elizabeth recently invited Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, to celebrate Christmas at Sandringham House – and Kate Middleton was reportedly “livid.”

According to Life & Style, Kate’s family have never once been extended this offer despite her being married to Prince William since 2011.

“Kate’s parents have never been asked to spend the holidays with the Queen,” a palace source told the US tabloid.

“Instead, she and William have been forced to split their time between the Middleton’s and the Royal Family, shuffling their children from household to household.”

The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, do join the 92-year-old monarch at church for Christmas morning service, before returning to nearby Amner Hall for lunch with Kate and Wills and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis

Life & Style’s royal insider tells, “Kate accused the Queen of giving special treatment and sees this as a huge snub to her side of the family.”

“She understands that most of Meghan’s family is estranged rom her and that this was a kind gesture, but it still hasn’t stopped her from thinking that Prince Harry’s wife has got it easy.”

The Royal Family is yet to respond to Life & Style’s report.
