Princess Mary’s terror: My son is missing!

Princess Mary suffered every mum’s worst nightmare when her eldest son, Prince Christian, disappeared during a school skiing trip.

Danish reports reveal that Christian, 12, was enjoying the slopes of Veysonnaz, Verbier along with his younger sister, Princess Isabella, 10, when he disappeared from sight.

Danish publication Taet Paa states that it was a terrifying hour-long wait before Christian was found again – and thankfully for a very worried Mary, the soon to be teenager didn’t even realise he had been missing.

This isn’t the first time Christian has caused Mary, 46, and husband Crown Prince Frederik, 49, concern. Back in 2015, Christian was apparently moments from death after he got swept out to sea during a family trip to Australia.

The then 10-year-old was pulled from a deadly rip by lifeguards at Mermaid Beach on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

‘We got him before it got too serious, but he wouldn’t have come back in,’ lifeguard Stuart Keay told the Courier Mail at the time.

And it seems since Christian’s disappearance at Verbier – which happened in 2016 – his parents are doing everything in their power to make sure another incident doesn’t occur.

Taet Paa reports that the young royal was spotted skiing the following year with a GPS tracker attached to his helmet!
