Prince Harry might seem like he’s on top of the world as he tours South Africa with wife Meghan Markle and baby Archie, but the royal has revealed he is so weighed down by worry he struggles to get out of bed of a morning.
The prince, 35, made the revealing comment during a chat with a member of the public whole on duty in Cape Town. Speaking to student Peter Oki, Prince Charles’ second son revealed the weight that is on his shoulders.
‘Harry said he often woke up and felt overwhelmed by too many problems in the world, that sometimes it’s hard to get out of bed in the mornings,’ the student told The Sun.

‘But he wanted to use their platform to enable grass-roots change and to try and create a better society.’
The royal has spoken in the past about the climate change crisis, and as an Afghanistan veteran is heavily involved in helping former soldiers deal with life after war.
Harry is said to have been left distraught over the recent death of his friend and mentor, Jules Roberts. The 37-year-old adventurer is said to have committed suicide six years after training alongside the Duke of Sussex for a South Pole trek to raise funds and awareness for the military charity ‘Walking With The Wounded‘.
Mental health remains a priority issue for the royal couple. They visited the Monwabisi beach and the Waves for Change program, which works to help kids overcome mental health challenges through surfing.
Meghan spoke there of the importance of overcoming the stigma surrounding mental issues.
‘It’s just getting people to talk about it and talk to each other, right?’ she said.
‘And you see that no matter where you are in the world, if you’re a small community or a township, if you’re in a big city — it’s that everyone is dealing with a different version of the same thing.
‘Globally, I think there’s a bit of a consciousness crisis, and so the fact we’re able to be here together to see so much good work being done, just because people are willing to talk to each other about it and someone’s willing to listen, is huge.’
The couple’s visit to South Africa comes amid mounting speculation that they are already expecting their second child, with the Duchess fuelling talk by refusing all alcohol on the trip.
According to Express, several photos have created a buzz online amongst royal observers, with one user writing ‘Meghan Markle changes into the same blue dress she wore when she was pregnant last year on Royal Tour!’
