Thomas Markle Sr. confirmed today that he would no longer be attending his daughter, Meghan Markle’s, May 19 wedding to Prince Harry. The news comes as the former lighting director was caught on film staging paparazzi photos of himself, which were later sold to publications around the world.
Now, it has been reported that Harry is ‘blaming himself’ for the crisis.
‘He is devastated. He feels like this is another thing in the wake of him…the problems he causes,’ a source close to Harry said. ‘He feels that anyone who gets associated with his life – this is the price they have to pay.
‘He wants to protect her and this is really difficult for him to swallow.’
Thomas Markle was scheduled to walk his daughter down the aisle at St George’s Chapel, but now it is unclear who will be given the honourable job.
