As well as grandma, Queen Elizabeth!

Prince George just got a major lesson in royal family tradition!

The 5-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton was taken by his mother on his first ever grouse hunting experience during a visit with Queen Elizabeth at her Scotland home, Balmoral Castle.

According to Emily Andrews, a royal correspondent, it was the young royal’s first time hunting, The Sun reports.

After the expedition, George and Kate then joined the Queen, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall, and Prince Edward, his wife Sophie Wessex and their children James, Viscount Severn and Lady Louise Windsor.

On Sunday, the Queen, William, Kate, Anne, Sir Timothy Laurence, their daughter-in-law Autumn Phillips, Charles, Edward, Sophie and Louise were all photographed en route to attend church services at Crathie Kirk.
