Prince Edward is not a fan of Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson, a royal biographer has revealed.
Ingrid Seward claims that Edward blames the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of York for many of the problems the royal family have encountered over the years.

“Taking his cue from he Duke of Edinburgh, he deems them substantially responsible for many of the difficulties that have beset his family and so undermined their public standing,” Seward wrote in her book titled Prince Edward.
She added: “Unlike Prince Andrew, who in the early days made a great fuss over Diana, Prince Edward was always wary of the seemingly malleable ingénue who so quickly captured the imagination of the world.
Seward claims that Edward had a great relationship with Fergie to start but things went downhill following her highly publicised friendship with American Steve Wyatt.
The icing on the cake was Sarah’s fall out with Edward’s wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
“Increasingly suspicious of his sister-in-law, he became convinced that she had leaked information about Sophie to her press contacts.”
Edward and the Countess of Wessex recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary at Royal Ascot on Wednesday, June 19.
The couple, who were married in George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in 1999 and who share two children together – Lady Louise Windsor and James Viscount Severn – did not crack a smile as they battled the rain for day two of Royal Ascot.
