Prince Andrew’s role in Princess Beatrice’s May wedding confirmed

Prince Andrew’s role in his daughter Beatrice upcoming wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has been revealed.

Buckingham Palace finally confirmed yesterday that Bea and her property tycoon beau will wed on May 29, in what is being described as a private affair.

A message on the royal family’s Instagram page revealed: “The wedding of HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will take place on Friday 29 May 2020.

“The couple became engaged in Italy in September 2019.

“The Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.

“The ceremony will be followed by a private reception, given by The Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.”

Now a source has confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that her father, the Duke of York, will take part in the wedding after missing the engagement, because of the scandal surrounding his friendship with paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.

Numerous reports suggest Andrew would be excluded from the wedding as he continues to battle backlash. 

The wedding will not be broadcast on television like her sister Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank.
