My Kitchen Rules EXCLUSIVE: Ibby and Romel reveal the OTHER team that voted strategically

Turns out there were more...

Group two were left outraged tonight after Ibby and Romel used their scoring advantage to eliminate Anne and Jennifer from the competition.

Namely Bianca and Luke were furious with group one after they deduced it had to be Sydney socialites Ibby and Romel who threw the scores out of whack.

While they unleashed their fury at the table, and Ibby and Romel denied they were responsible, new allegations have emerged that they weren’t the only ones to strategically score.

Speaking exclusively to New Idea, restaurant owner Ibby says group two’s Veronica and Piper strategically scored in group two’s favour, however it wasn’t shown on the episode.

“What I heard is that Veronica and Piper did ad eight and a one or an eight and a two or a nine and a one or something ridiculous,” Ibby states.

“I haven’t seen it. That’s just what I heard. They did the same thing but they had no reason. They should be ashamed.”

While Ibby admits that he wishes he and Romel didn’t decide to strategically score, he says that the lads had a good reason for making the decision.

“We regret it. We’re not proud of it. It wasn’t our proudest moment on the show,” Ibby says.

“But at the end of the day, we did it for a reason. We did it to protect us.

“It’s a game, right? Only one person is going to make it to the final and at that point they had two teams more than us. If Mick and Jodie-Anne went home that would have been three teams more for group two.”

However, that doesn’t mean Ibby and Romel don’t feel bad about what they did.

“We sent Anne and Jen home,” Ibby admits.

“If it wasn’t for us, they wouldn’t have gone home.

“Then you start feeling guilty about that. If it wasn’t for us, they may have stayed in this competition for I don’t know how long. I’m not right to make decisions like that. We shouldn’t have played it like that. It’s dirty.”
