While New Idea has confirmed that Matt and Bianca are set to become romantically involved on air, it seems there could still be a chance for any single ladies out there.
The good looking youth worker – whose nickname is “Hollywood” – describes his ideal match, and it doesn’t sound anything like Bianca!
“I like girls that love their sport,” Matt tells New Idea.
“I know that’s a hard thing to achieve, but I’m a sporty guy. I love a girl that would be able to wear footy shorts on a Friday night.”
According to Matt, he plans to woo a girl using his love for cricket.
When she comes along, my plan is to take her to a match,” he says.
“I’ve already planned it out. I’ll buy her the scarf and all that. It’s gotta be a Twenty 20. If I take her to a test it will be game over.
“The amount of conversations I’ve had with girls about cricket and straight away, ‘Oh, that’s boring. That’s boring.’
“It’s a work in progress with a lot of girls, and I’m happy to take on that challenge.”
Given his openness to meeting “the one”, does that mean Matt is ready for the onslaught of female attention that is headed his way now he’s on MKR?
“I don’t know,” he admits.
“I honestly got no idea what to expect. It’s whole new territory for me. The whole experience has been whole new territory. I’ll just keep being myself.”
