Ibby and Romel are currently enemy number one according to group two.

While the teams took aim at the strategic scorers, New Idea can exclusively reveal how Ibby and Romel REALLY dealt with the confrontation.

According to the Sydney friends, they actually addressed the issue as soon as they sat down at the next elimination cook off, which aired tonight.

“We apologised first and then group two all understood because we apologised, and we were very sincere,” Ibby says.

“We looked at everyone in the eyes and we said ‘we’re looking you in the eye and we’re saying sorry. We’re really sorry, we feel really bad about it. This is why we did it, etc, etc, etc.’

“Then group two were okay with it. And then, the producers went out and said ‘this is not how it’s going to end. Group two needs to give it to Ibby and Romel.’ “And then we had to sit there, after we already apologised, and take it from everyone.”

Ibby admits that as soon as they had given their strategic votes, which led to Anne and Jennifer being eliminated, they felt guilty.

“Me and Romel felt so s***, we couldn’t even sleep that night,” Ibby says.

“We felt like the world had f****** crashed on us.”
