My Kitchen Rules isn’t exactly known as a romance reality TV series, however, in a surprising twist, there has been a meeting of the cooking show and The Bachelorette.
Speaking to New Idea, Luke revealed his unexpected connection to former Bachelorette Georgia Love.
The 29-year-old father of one spills that he is close friends with Nick Grubb, the Hobart policeman she dumped to appear on the Channel Ten dating show.
And their break up all played out at Luke’s wedding to now-wife Amy!
“There was high drama at my wedding,” he says.
“One of my friends who was at my wedding was dating Georgia Love who was the Bachelorette.
“So she dumped him to go on the Bachelorette and when that was all going down was my wedding and he was getting phone calls from the Daily Mail and magazines.
“There was this whole reality TV drama going on.”
