According to his teammate Luke, Matt actually broke up with his girlfriend at the father-of-one’s wedding!
“Matt came to my wedding with his girlfriend at the time and they actually broke up at my wedding,” Luke told New Idea.
Thankfully, the cricket-obsessed cook didn’t make a scene.
“I didn’t know about it because he didn’t want to spoil the day or take the attention away,” Luke explained.
“It wasn’t like he dumped her but it was like that was the night where it was the end.”

On Tuesday night’s episode of MKR, Matt and Luke defeated Ruby and Andy is the second sudden death semi-final.
They will meet Ibby and Romel in the grand final.
