It was Ibby and Romel’s turn to cook in MKR’s Instant Restaurant on Wednesday night’s episode and there were a few shocks to say the least.
The Sydney socialites decided to turn to s stylist friend to help them decorate the restaurant so that they could focus on the food.
No other contestant has done this to date and when Romel decided to tell the table that this is what he had done, Josh in particular was unhappy.
“Does this make you guys question their character? Do you think these guys are playing dirty?” Austin asked the dinner table.
“I’m telling you, they are playing dirty,” Josh insisted.
Passionate Peruvians Andy and Ruby told New Idea off camera that they were a little upset too.
“Look, at the start I thought it was fine but then I was upset because if I knew we could get help, I would have gotten help,” said Andy.
“Ruby and I spent so much time. I’m like a micromanager freak, I need every single thing to be perfect. I had spread sheets, I organised everything.
“We imported things from Peru, all the beautiful fabrics, all the ornaments. We put a lot of time and effort. It’s against the rules, number one. And it doesn’t make it personal and all that time I spent working on my decorations, I could have spent working on my menus and practising,” she added.
So how did she think they got away with it?
“I don’t know. They must be sucking someone’s [mimes a penis]. He’s sleeping with someone, Romel is!” said Ruby.
However, if you ask Amanda Proud – that might not be the case.
“I don’t think it was cheating but it was really kind of rubbing it in everyone’s faces. Everyone else did the work of doing it. I know we went over our time setting it up and went into our cooking time and they were just cruising through. It’s a bit of a kick in the face,” she told WHO.
