Michelle Pfeiffer just launched her own fragrance line

Famed actress is now in the beauty biz!

Actress Michelle Pfeiffer has launched her own fragrance line and she couldn’t be more delighted.

The collection, dubbed Henry Rose, is made up of five unisex scents – including a woodsy floral, a patchouli and amber blend and a warm vanilla that Michelle can’t get enough of.

The scents have been a long time coming for Michelle who has talked about and dreamt of creating her own fragrance for decades.

She wore the fresh and innocent Heaven Scent back in primary school, switched up to Taboo in the early years of high school and then, by the time she graduated, was wearing the considerably more grown-up Opium.

She loved each and every one with a passion but when she had her children in the Nineties, Michelle started looking more closely at the ingredients that made up the perfumes she loved and she became concerned.

“A lot of the beauty categories were moving toward clean, but fragrance wasn’t,” she told The Cut. “So, ultimately, I stopped wearing it.”

But Michelle missed her scents badly. And so she began exploring the idea of creating and launching her own. She pitched the idea of a clean fragrance line to several beauty houses, but the reception was luke warm only.

“When I’d bring up the concept of being 100 percent transparent about the ingredients, the conversation shut down,” Michelle told The Cut. “And I just wasn’t comfortable putting my name or my face on a product that I wouldn’t wear myself.”

Eventually though she met with a group willing to work with her and Henry Rose was born.

Michelle’s line Henry Rose is currently available in the US only but there are plans to expand worldwide. In the meantime, you might like to check out Australian clean scent range Recreation Bondi Beach. All of these scents are heavenly, but we particularly love Call Me Venus EDP (50ml), $109.
