Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle has suffered a broken ankle after a terrifying run in with paparazzi in the US, her boyfriend claims.
The news comes after reports that Meghan’s father. Thomas Markle Sr., has undergone heart surgery and confirmed that he will no longer be attending his daughter’s wedding.
53-year-old Samantha, who is wheel-chair bound after a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis in 2008, and her boyfriend, were apparently in a car accident while trying to avoid paparazzi in Florida.
Mark, Samantha’s boyfriend, told TMZ the pair were driving near a toll booth when they had a run in with photographers.
He claims a photographer swerved in front of them while trying to get a shot, and as the driver, Mark had to avoid the paparazzi’s car, which led to the vehicle colliding with a concrete barrier.
Samantha is reportedly being treated by doctors.
