Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ ratings have dropped so low, there’s buzz that the E! series will be cancelled, Life & Style reports.
“The show has had its ups and downs over the years, but viewership has fallen off a cliff recently,” says an insider.
“Plus, the show has become expensive to produce while certain advertisers find the Kardashian-Jenner clan vacuous and just plain don’t like them.
“Executives are starting to panic and consider rebuilding the network without the family.”
The show had been a juggernaut for E! at one point, drawing in a whopping 10.5 million viewers and helping the famous family amass a $1.5billion fortune along the way.
That empire is facing collapse, Life & Style claims.
An insider tells, “They’ve managed to stay afloat for 11 years, but unless they can revive their dwindling audience, KUWTK could soon be over for good.”
According to Life & Style, the news is “Kris and Kim’s worst nightmare.”
“They’re not ready to let go of their status as pop culture icons,” adds the insider.
