Actress Katie Holmes has revealed new detail about her life with her daughter Suri, saying she limits social media like any other mum.

The actress, now 40, says although she is Hollywood royalty, she still faces the same struggles as many parents- such as screen time.
“Every parent is challenged by social media and the internet,” she said in a new interview with Stellar magazine.
“I think for me it’s just limiting the amount of time for myself and for my child.
“It’s important to get out and live and not always be on your phone.”
She says these days her most important relationships are with her family including her daughter and parents.
“I feel very lucky to come from and to have the support of a large family – and to give my support to a large family,” she revealed to Stellar. “It’s such a gift to be able to have that around you at all times. My heart goes out to those families that are dealing with these challenges that seem insurmountable at times.”
In the rare interview, Katie opened up about life as a mum – but dodged any questions about her Scientologist ex-husband, Tom Cruise.
Since their split in 2012, Katie has been raising Suri alone, and it is thought Tom has no contact with his daughter.
Katie refused to talk about the drama of life with her ex – or discuss their 2012 divorce agreement – and instead focused on the positive aspects of her life.
