IGA supermarkets across the country will drop the prices of thousands of over 3,000 everyday items as a means of helping shoppers during the ongoing cost of living crisis.

The massive price drop will see the cost of these products drop until July 30th, 2024 as part of the supermarket giant’s Low Prices Everyday initiative

Prices on an additional 200 products for small stores, 600 products for medium stores, and over 1,200 products for large stores will also now automatically be matched to the lowest regular shelf price in the likes of competitors Coles and Woolworths as part of IGA’s Price Match Program.

The move is the largest semi-permanent price drop IGA has ever introduced and is sure to make shopping for household essentials less of a burden during these financially difficult times.

Pantry staples such as Heinz Big Red Soup, Maggi Recipe Bases, and 2 Minute Noodles are just a handful of the products that have been locked in at a low price point until the end of July.

Additional winter warmers will also be available to purchase at a highly competitive and budget-friendly price as well as confectionery, snacks, pasta, cleaning supplies, pet food, dairy products and meat, frozen meals, health products, and more.

“IGA does all the work for you so you can shop with confidence knowing it doesn’t cost more to shop local, but you also get all the benefits of a store which supports the local causes that matter,” a spokesperson shared in a press release announcing the exciting news.
