How to do Meghan Markle’s beauty look at home

So much easier than you think!

Meghan Markle is a strikingly beautiful woman – there’s no doubt about it.

But the new wife and mother also knows her way around the makeup table.

As the whole world knows, Meghan was a successful actress before she married Prince Harry and became the Duchess of Sussex. And while she has had to tone it down a smidge, (royals have rules after all), Meghan has pretty much stuck with her regular beauty look.

If you’re a fan of that makeup style you’ll be pleased to know it’s not that tricky to recreate. All you need to do is follow a few very basic rules and voila – you’re Meghan Markle magical.

Those rules are as follows: skip foundation.

Meghan is a fan of tinted moisturisers or creams with a touch of colour such as BB or even CC creams. These hide and flaws and correct colour and yet allow your natural skin tone to shine through. In Meghan’s case this means you can see her pretty freckles which we love.

“I don’t wear foundation unless I’m filming,” Meghan has been quoted as saying. But she does like to wear something such as the above – or even a simple primer to add dewy glow.

Meghan also likes to wear concealer. She prefers to apply it down the bridge of the nose and also under the eyes to hide any dark circles or the appearance of tiredness.

Remember to blend with a fingertip – the warmth will help to spread the product.

Mascara
For Meghan Markle-worthy lashes, try Max Factor Volume Infusion Mascara, $29.95.

To continue with the traditional MM makeup look, apply a light eyebrow gel to keep unruly strays in place and then, add a chocolate brown eyeliner along the outer and inner lash line.

If you’re feeling tired, apply a cream coloured pencil to the inner lash line instead. This will help you to look more awake.

You’ll need to wear a peachy pink natural-looking blush. Apply to the high points of the cheeks and, if you’re feeling peppy, dust a touch on the eyelids for a modern look.

Lips are nude with a hint of pink. Think lip balms with just a touch of colour. And finally – lashes, lashes, lashes. Let your first coat of mascara dry for 30 seconds, apply another and then, you’re good to go.
