Things went from bad to worse for Lisa and Andy on House Rules tonight.
The much-loved South Australian pair were struggling from the get-go during their first exterior renovation.
First off, the duo decided to tap out of zone wars opting for the most difficult zone in Tim’s backyard.
After finally settling on a sunken lounge and firepit, build supervisor Matt is worried that the team are just digging themselves into a hole.
“I have major concerns about this being finished on time,” he said.
Andy replied: “Is it doable?” to which supervisor Matt answered: “In the time frame, it is going to be very difficult.”
Lisa and Andy have dug themselves into a hole, quite literally, so they need to either make a change or scale it down in any way.
Then, just as they felt they had worked out some shortcuts, came the clincher.
After being rewarded with the fix up room, Pete and Courtney palmed it off onto Lisa and Andy.
“So we basically got 48 hours to completely change the feel, vibe and style of the master bedroom,” Lisa said.
“And we’ve also got a hell of a lot of work to do in the outdoor lounge.”
