Tori (Penny McNamee) has endured more than her share of heartbreak in her quest to become a mother. But is tragedy calling again?
In this week’s dramatic development, a drug-affected patient lashes out after regaining consciousness, and Tori is on the receiving end of his violent outburst.
The patient kicks Tori in the stomach, leaving her in a state of shock as she harbours serious concerns for her unborn child. “She has the wind knocked out of her and fears that the baby may have been hurt,” says Penny.
With tension between them forgotten, Jasmine rushes to Tori’s side.“Jasmine can’t help but be concerned for Tori and the unborn baby,” says Penny.
“It’s Jasmine who supports her and tries to reassure her, giving Tori a glimpse of hope that perhaps their friendship could be salvaged.”
