Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have been married for over two decades, and now the Hollywood star has revealed the VERY cheeky nickname his wife has given him.
Speaking to the Today Show, the 49-year-old actor confessed Deb calls him ‘Senator Jackman’.
‘When I go to restaurants because I was a waiter for so many years I’ll always say, ‘”What’s your name?” She’ll go, ”Senator Jackman’s here!” It makes me laugh,’ he said.
Last week the Aussie actor told WHO that he and Deborra-Lee have a ‘secret pact’ that has helped keep their marriage on track.
‘When Deb and I got married, we made a pact that we would look at each other at every turning point in our lives and ask ourselves if this is good or bad for our family,’ he explained.
Hugh and Deb wed in April 1996, and they share two children – Oscar, 18 and Ava, 13.
