It’s no secret that Liam Hemsworth and his estranged wife Miley Cyrus are no longer on friendly terms, but according to a shock new report out of the US today, the Aussie star’s brother is also involved in the tensions.

Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky have allegedly ‘had enough’ of Miley and her antics, and have definitely taken Liam’s side in the marital meltdown. The couple have even reportedly issued a warning to Miley to ‘stop playing games’ with devastated Liam, according to Radar Online.

‘They have conveyed that message to her in a strongly worded text,’ Radar’s source alleged. ‘Miley was actually shocked that Chris and Elsa had struck her off and told her in no uncertain terms to stay away from their brother and let him heal.’

Liam is currently back in Australia, getting some family nurturing from his brother and sister-in-law, and they are hyper-protective.

‘They are the ones picking up the pieces,’ the source continued. ‘And they’ll happily do anything to protect Liam, including shutting Miley out of Liam’s life.’

Miley’s very public romps with her post-break-up fling Kaitlynn Carter, and perceived jibes aimed at her ex have really rubbed Chris and Elsa the wrong way, reports the site.

‘The breakup song, the smear campaign implying he has addiction issues, her texting him at random – it’s all infuriating to them,’ the source reportedly added.

‘They welcomed Miley with open arms even though she was way too wild and immature for their friendship group, and they feel betrayed by her behaviour too.’

Miley Cyrus took an apparent swipe at exes Liam Hemsworth and Kaitlynn Carter in her latest post to Instagram stories.

The 26-year-old singer shared a photo with her dogs on Sunday, and it looks like she’s comparing her pooches to her former flames.

Miley wished followers a ‘Happy Sunday’ and wrote that animals ‘live by the golden rule to love and be loved.’

But it was the final line that left fans thinking she was taking aim at Kaitlynn and Liam.

‘All they ask is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability and faithfulness. (Reminds me of someone).’
