She’s been linked to Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt for months now, but it seems Charlize Theron may be pursuing an entirely different romantic path with a rather unlikely suitor.
The South African born stunner is said to have caught the interest of singer Seal after they met on a recent work trip at the Whitby Hotel in New York City, Daily Mail reports.
The 56-year-old Kiss from a Rose hitmaker reportedly wants to take the 43-year-old actress on a date when they return to their hometown of Los Angeles, after finding a “lot of chemistry” with each other.
An insider told the Sunday Mirror that Seal was “pretty charming”, saying: “He’s a smooth guy and had no trouble introducing himself to her.”
The potential match is especially interesting given Charlize’s remarkable resemblance to Seal’s ex-wife Heidi Klum.
But a fresh romance isn’t the only exciting prospect on the horizon for Charlize.

The news comes as mother-of-two Charlize flatly denied rumours of a relationship with Brad Pitt, declaring she has been single for years.
But tellingly, the Oscar winner remarked: “My time is opening up a little bit more.”
Seal and supermodel Heidi, who split in 2012, share four children together.
Charlize is mum to two adopted children, three-year-old August and seven-year-old Jackson who she recently revealed she is raising as a girl despite the child being introduced to the world as a boy.
