Brad Pitt looked heartbroken as he attended a U2 concert in California, where the legendary band paid tribute to Pitt’s friend, the late Chris Cornell.
Pitt, 54, was photographed sporting casual khaki pants, a jacket and a cap.
U2 paid tribute to Cornell – who died by suicide – by singing a snippet of the 1994 Soundgarden hit, “Black Hole Sun,”
Pitt and Cornell’s friendship stems back more than a decade.
“Brad and Chris were very close,” a source told ET. “Brad wanted to be supportive of [Cornell’s wife] Vicky and the kids.”
