Pulling themselves in close while gazing into each other’s eyes, it was clear to everyone in the room that long-time friends Olivia Newton-John and Jimmy Barnes had some sizzling chemistry.
And as the pair took to the stage to perform at the annual Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre Charity Gala last week, there was no-one else more fascinated by their closeness than Olivia’s husband John Easterling.
Despite Olivia insisting her relationship with Jimmy is purely platonic, friends of the Physical singer – who tied the knot in 2008 – say John is now seriously green with envy.
‘John is definitely jealous of Jimmy and Olivia’s relationship,’ an insider confirms.
‘How could he not be? They’re draped all over each other the whole time and clearly have a major connection.
‘She lights up around him, while he follows her around and flirts with her like crazy. It’s just not right as far as John’s concerned.’
