Rugged up in puffer jackets, Ada captioned the photo, ‘What holiday??? Welcome back o #summerbay.’

It’s long been a running joke that it’s always sunny in Summer Bay, with fans around the world lapping up the fantasy of an endless summer at one of the TV-viewing public’s most desired beachside towns.

Former Home and Away star Dannii Minogue has spoken in the past about how winter can create some issues on the hit show, which is famed for its depiction of a perpetual outdoors lifestyle.

‘For a lot of the time we girls had to wear a bikini – even in winter which can be chilly,’ she has said.

‘I remember a few of us asking the producer if we could wear something less revealing, more suitable for the winter. The reply came back from the network: “It’s always summer in Summer Bay.”’

Ada has until this week been making sure we all become jealous by regularly uploading envious snaps onto social media from her European getaway with partner Adam Rigby.

Ada – who plays Leah Patterson on the popular Channel Seven show – memorably uploaded a shot of herself and Adam sitting on a balcony in Crete as most of the rest of us froze in Australia.

Ada enjoyed the idyllic European getaway with her partner and son Johnas, whom she shares with ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas.

Meanwhile, good mate Lynne has been revelling in a thrilling storyline that has recently seen her character Irene before the courts and possibly headed to jail!

‘She is just beside herself,’ says Lynne of Irene and her plight. ‘She knows there is a very strong possibility she could be going to jail.’

Speaking of her harrowing scenes filmed in a Sydney court, Lynne revealed it was just as tense filming it as it might be for fans to watch.

‘They were quite gruelling to do, and I was on the stand for many of the scenes,’ she says.

‘It was a full-on day, but it was a great day. It absolutely felt extremely real and scary.

‘We filmed in a beautiful old courtroom building, which really helped enhance the feeling of impending doom.’
