Despite Matt Agnew picking Chelsie McLeod, the heartbreak hasn’t stopped Abbie from wanting to give Channel 10’s reality tv franchise another chance.

“I would love to be Bachelorette,” she told Sydney Confidential yesterday.

But I think it’s a really hard gig because you’re basically by yourself … I’d definitely consider (it though), I think it would be lots of fun.”

Those following Chatfield’s moves over the past month might be under the impression that she’ll have to break a certain former Bachelorette contestant’s heart in order to appear on the series.

The 24-year-old was recently spotted sharing a steamy kiss with Todd King.

However, Abbie confirmed to Sydney Confidential that she is not dating the reality tv star and is very much single.

No, we’re not dating. We had like, one weekend in Brisbane and it’s been drawn out,” she told the publication.

“He’s great but he lives in Perth and just got into the police academy so he’s not moving [and] I’m not moving to Perth.”

According to the publication, Abbie has left her job as a property analyst in Brisbane and intends to relocate to Sydney – which just so happens to be the place where The Bachelorette is filmed.

For any men looking to win the Gemini beauty’s heart, they should be prepared to make her laugh.

“I don’t have a type at all. Every guy that I’ve dated is completely different in age, appearance, background and job,” she told Sydney Confidential.

“I want someone who’s smart and empathetic and can make me laugh.”

Chatfield has been the most-talked-about person to come from this year’s season of The Bachelor.

The self-proclaimed feminist faced a great deal of backlash after some of her saucier onscreen moments with Matt Agnew.

“I didn’t realise the backlash would be so strong, I live in this bubble with feminist friends and no one really has those opinions,” she said.

“People are uncomfortable with sexuality in general in Australia, we’re quite backwards but I think even more so for women.

“That’s just who I am, by the end of it I forgot the cameras were even there. That’s why I said ‘I’m so h*rny, I want to have sex with you’ [to Matt] because it was like I forgot. At that point, you’re dating someone for three months and you haven’t slept with them… I didn’t put it on at all, that’s just me.”

What’s more, Abbie confessed that she’s still growing accustomed to her new-found fame.

“It’s really good but it also comes with pressure. I’m very careful with what I post now,” she admitted.

With all this in mind, it appears Chatfield is prepared to follow in Angie Kent and Sophie Monk‘s footsteps to become the next Bachelorette.
